Frequently asked questions

How do I remove old sealer from pavers?
Spray Tidal Wave X, let it dwell, scrub and rinse with a pressure washer or surface cleaner. Repeat if needed, then clean with EffBOMB before resealing.
Why did my sealer turn white?
White haze often comes from moisture trapped under a film sealer or a failed coating. Stripping and resealing with a breathable sealer usually fixes it.
Can I reseal over old sealer?
Failed, white or peeling sealer should be stripped first.
Does it need dilution?
No, it is ready to use.
What coverage should I expect?
100-300 sq ft per gallon per application.
Is it biodegradable?
Yes; residue breaks down quickly in soil, but keep it out of drains.

Trident Tidal Wave X is a ready-to-use, sprayable gel sealer stripper that removes acrylic, acrylic latex, polyurethane and other resin sealers, plus latex and oil-based paint spots, from pavers, concrete and stone. It is natural and biodegradable, clings for efficient dwell, and covers 100-300 sq ft per gallon per application. It is the first step before resealing failed or white, hazy sealer.
